FRIDAY, OCTOBER 29: Serena is throwing a party down at her family's old beach house. All of Tree Hill is invited, so bring your friends and get ready for a wild night.

I was so nervous, I could feel my hands shaking. I don't think I have ever been this nervous for a audition. When Ava told told me to come on Friday I didn't realize how soon Friday would come.... and here I am. I hope that I get signed. I finally settled into this town and I don't want to leave again. This is the last chance that I have. I have been up and down the east coast a thousand times and this little town record studio is my last hope of making it big someday.
 
I know that I am way over dressed but I figured I would head over to Serena's party right after. It would be better that way. As soon as I'm done I can go straight to the party to let off some steam and get nice and drunk.
 
As I left my room in the Butterfly Inn I realized that I might not be staying here that much longer. I will interview with RBR and if they say no then I will probably have to go. Maybe I will check out the west coast. If I am lucky they will sign me and I will be able to look for a permanent residence here in Tree Hill.
 
As I made my way to the studio I gripped my guitar harder. I can't decided if I should sing one of my old songs or if I should sing the song I wrote at the fall festival.
 
When I got their it was empty. I didn't know if it was just Ava or any of the other girls that would be interviewing me and a making the demo. As I waited for her I decided on the song I wrote at the Fall Festival. I figured that I wrote it here and maybe that was a sign that I should sing it. It was probably my best too, if I don't say so myself.
 
When I heard the door open behind me I jumped a little. I was that nervous.
 
"I'm sorry I'm so late", Ava apologized immediately.
 
"It's no problem. I haven't been here that long", I shrugged. "It's no big deal". If anything I prefer that she took her time. It gave me some time to cool down.
 
"No, I'm really sorry Jolie. It's not very professional of me".
 
"I said don't worry about it", I laughed.

"Okay, let's start then", She just smiled back.
 
Ava started with a few questions about my musical past. And with me, it wasn't much. Just that I have wanted to be a singer my whole life and that I have been told I have the perfect voice to make my dreams come true.
 
She told me to go into the sound booth and to start whenever I was ready. This was it. I took a deep breath and the words started to float out of my mouth.
 
When I was done Ava smiled and told me I did great. And I actually believed her. To me I sounded better than ever and the song really went with my voice. I think I will be happy with how the demo will end up sounding.
 
She told me she would have to show it to Jenny, Daisy, and Makenna to make the finally decisions but that she will tell me soon. We said our goodbyes and I left. For once I had a good feeling of how the audition went. Maybe I will finally be able to stay in one place and call Tree Hill home.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 26: Marcus and Ava are hosting a party at their brand new house. Yes, there will be alcohol, so get those hangover remedies ready for tomorrow morning. They want to break the house in, and I'm sure you can all do that.
